Personalised Clinical Approach for Specific Conditions and Pathologies
The nutritional intervention is focused on the management of metabolic and dysmetabolic conditions, including diabetes mellitus in its various forms (type 1, type 2, insulin-dependent and non-insulin-dependent), childhood diabetes, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, hypercholesterolaemia, arterial hypertension, obesity, overweight and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
Cardiovascular diseases and conditions associated with fluid retention are also included, with nutritional pathways aimed at improving clinical parameters and preventing complications through a personalised, evidence-based approach.
Nutritional support also covers the main gastrointestinal disorders, including colitis, gastritis, gastro-oesophageal reflux and oesophagitis, irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulitis, constipation and malabsorption disorders.
Coeliac disease, gluten-sensitive enteropathy, food intolerances and allergies, heartburn and diet-related headaches are also addressed, with the aim of reducing symptoms, improving quality of life and supporting appropriate long-term nutritional management.
